The Information Based Indicia Program (IBIP), was created by the US
Postal Service (USPS) to enable customers to purchase and print postage
from the convenience of their PC's, 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. Now

It speeds mail delivery because it automatically corrects
mistakes in addresses and adds the ZIP+4 for faster, automated
mail processing. |

Printing Internet
Postage with a LabelWriter is faster, easier and more economical than
using conventional printers:
- Universal: LabelWriter postage labels fit on any size mail piece
from small envelopes, Priority Mail flats to Parcel Post packages.
In contrast, only a very few envelope sizes can feed through
standard printers. Parcels can't fit through your printer!
- Hassle free: The LabelWriter fits right on your desk, printing
matched sets of address and postage labels without interfering with
your other equipment or interrupting your workflow. It's a hassle to
feed envelopes and label sheets through standard printers.
Particularly if you share those printers on a network and have to
interrupt other users every time you need to feed an envelope or
label sheet.
- Mistake Proof: The LabelWriter eliminates the possibility of
incorrectly printed postage when standard printers misfeed envelopes
or print postage on the wrong paper stock. The Post Office doesn't
offer rebates on incorrectly printed postage. Advantage LabelWriter!
- Accurate Postage: Whether you are sending Priority Mail envelope,
or a 3oz letter, you will always have the exact postage at your
fingertips.
- Networkable: You can share a LabelWriter on your network so
everyone can use it as a postage printer.
|
| All LabelWriter EL60, EL Turbo and XL Turbo printers print
Internet postage. In addition, LabelWriter XL Plus printers with serial
numbers that begin with the number "11-" (for example, 11-
xxxxxxx) are supported. In all cases, you need to use the newest Windows
print drivers (version 3.66 or later) that are available from the
Downloads page on this web site. |
